Cardiff Open Air Theatre : Sweet Charity

Wednesday night I was invited to go to the Cardiff open air theatre, having never been to one and not hearing about one before I was intrigued to find out what it actually is. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it was really good.

As I walked over, I found these cute little tents and seating area.

Inside is a fully licensed bar and more seating..

There was even a little tent for freshly made pizza!

We then took our seats under cover (not that it was raining for a change) on some lovely padded chairs.

The cast were amazing, I am one who always looks for a fault or a mishap (I can't help it) but I can honestly say they were so professional not a flinch off course. They were great. The accents were amazing throughout. I really enjoyed watching it and it was truly a lovely evening.

It was exactly like going to the theatre indoors yet better! Better seats, cheaper and a more personal experience. It truly was a great show. I'd recommend anyone to give it a try.

There's also other shows such as As You Like It, Beauty And The Beast and Black Ladder. You can get tickets and find out more here -  http://everymanfestival.co.uk/#/list or check out their twitter @everymanfest

Have you ever been to an outdoor theatre?
